With the black permanent marker, draw an oval on the poster board that is the size of your face. Cut the oval out of the poster board. Cut out two eye holes so that you will be able to see.
Select the Kiss member who you will represent through your mask. Design your mask based on their makeup. These instructions will be based on Paul Stanley's makeup. On the front of your mask, draw the outline of a star around the left eye hole using the black permanent marker. Fill in the star with the black permanent marker, until it looks like solid black. Over the left eye hole, draw a thick, black eye brow with the black permanent marker. Using the black permanent marker, draw the outline of round, pursed lips. Fill in the lip outline with the red permanent marker.
Use the scissors to cut out two small, equally-sized holes in the mask on the outer side of each eye hole. Tie a string through the holes. Make the string tight enough so that the mask stays on your face. Pull the mask over your face, so that you can see through the eye holes.
