AM radio waves are longer than TV waves.

The AM radio band uses frequencies between 535 and 1,705 kHz, which correspond to wavelengths between 562 and 176 meters. TV waves, on the other hand, use frequencies between 54 and 890 MHz, which correspond to wavelengths between 5.56 and 0.34 meters.
