Buy "Time Out" magazine. If you live in the London area, buy a copy of "London Time Out." Television companies who produce programmes for Channel 4 regularly use this entertainment magazine to recruit for studio audiences. There are also adverts by companies looking for people to actually participate in the shows.
Check the Channel 4 website at www.channel4.com. You will find details of various television shows looking for audience members and also for those wishing to take part in the shows.
Sign up to other websites. There are various companies with their own websites that deal specifically with recruiting audience members. You must register, and then log on with these sites. Be aware that some charge a registration fee. The more reliable websites include www.beonlive.com and www.lostintv.com.
Contact the television show. If it is a long-running game show, such as the popular "Deal or No Deal," details might appear at the end of the show. Many of the games shows such "Countdown," are filmed more than once daily, and audience members are an important part of the show. Check on the Channel 4 website for phone numbers and email addresses to reach contacts for each particular show.
Get the "Evening Standard." As well as advertising in "Time Out" many companies advertise for audience members in London's "Evening Standard" newspaper.
