Make sure you have enough players and they meet the age requirements. This is a family game that caters to ages eight and above. Only a total of two to six people can play, and if you want to use a card for free parking only five people can play. There are only six banker units and six credit cards that come with the game.
Roll the dice and pass it around to all of the players. Whoever rolls the highest will start the game. Properties are not allowed to be purchased the first time around. You are still allowed to go to jail, collect free parking, and pick up a chance or community chest card.
Using the banker unit is fairly easy. When you collect money the banker will insert your card into the left hand side of the unit where there is a plus sign. You will be able to see your balance anytime your card is inserted. Using the keypad the banker will type in the amount you are to receive. When you have to pay the banker will insert your card into the right side of the unit where there is a minus sign. The amount you are paying will be entered and deducted from your money.
Land on an unowned property after going around once will allow you to purchase the property if you wish. Buying properties and eventually getting houses is what will help you to win the game. You will need to have a set of properties in your procession before you can purchase Hotels and Motels.
Win the game by bankrupting all of the other players. You can do this by taking all of their money and leaving them with nothing. Players when running out of money will have to start mortgaging the properties that they have in their possession. They will also have to start selling their Hotels and Motels if they own any.
