How to Watch Webisodes on a TV

Webisodes have become a way for television series to extend their ability to develop characters and appeal to their fans through extra materials that can be watched online. One drawback is they must be accessed through a computer and aren't generally available for viewing on a TV. In order to watch webisodes on a TV, you'll have to install special equipment to turn your TV into a computer monitor.

Things You'll Need

  • PC with a TV-out capable video card, or a PC-to-TV adapter box, or a VGA-to-S-video adapter cable
  • Appropriate cord for your PC-to-TV connection: S-video, composite, HDMI, etc.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine if your current video card will support TV-out. If you see an S-video connection or a composite video connection, these indicate your card supports TV-out. If you see neither, you'll need to buy and install a new video card or use a PC-to-TV adapter box.

Connect your TV to your PC or adapter box with the appropriate cord, usually either S-video or composite video. Plug one end into the input on your TV and the other into the adapter box or video card. If you're using an adapter box, use a VGA cable to connect the box to your PC.

Use the PC interface to look up webisodes. You will be able to watch them on the TV.
