Create and pass out invitations for your party that resemble "Glee Club Auditions" flyers. Include the date, time, place, RSVP information and any other important details. Also specify on the invitations that your friends should come dressed as their favorite "Glee" character.
Decorate with the school colors of McKinley High, red, white and black. Hang streamers, balloons and pom-poms from the walls, and adorn the rest of the room with high school-related memorabilia such as trophies and pennants.
Set up a table with plenty of food offerings. If you want to go all out with the high school theme, create a "cafeteria line," complete with food such as peanut butter and jelly, submarine and grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken nuggets and potato chips. For dessert, frost cupcakes with red and white icing, and bake sugar cookies shaped like music notes.
Serve your guests the "Glee" kids' signature drink. Crush ice in a blender until there are no large ice chunks, then add fruit-flavored syrup and serve in a big cup with a straw.
Play music from "Glee" in the background during party festivities. Also, set up karaoke featuring songs from the show and encourage your friends to perform. The 2010 release, "Karaoke Revolution Glee," is another fun sing-along option if you own a gaming console such as Wii or XBox.
Hold a "Glee" trivia contest, and give a prize to the guest who answers the most questions correctly. You may also want to reward the guest with the best "Glee"-inspired costume. Prizes could range from small party favors to a "Glee" soundtrack or DVD.
