Visit the Fox Entertainment Group online to get submissions dates. Having your pilot script arrive on time is the first step to getting your foot in the door.
Check to ascertain that you meet the criteria for a submitting writer. This may change through the different programs offered by Fox. For instance, in 2010, Fox was looking for diversity in their subject matter. You must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
Prepare two copies of your sitcom script and check for spelling and punctuation errors. Be sure your script is formatted correctly for a sitcom pilot.
Include a cover letter with your pilot scripts that expresses your desire to be a part of Fox's programs.
Seek out an evaluator, preferably someone with a background in television. Include a signed letter from the expert that includes that person's contact information, title, qualifications and opinion of your submission.
Prepare your resume and include two copies of it with the submission, cover letter and two copies of the evaluator's letter. Be sure it contains a current email address where Fox can contact you.
If required by the current program, sign and include two copies of any forms of release and agreement. These must be notarized by an active notary public.
Send your submission to Fox Broadcasting Company at the current address indicated on their website.
