Turn on your TV and switch to the input that's connected to your Roku box. Press the "Home" button on the Roku remote.
Press the arrow buttons until "Settings" is highlighted. Press "Select." Highlight "Factory Reset" and press "Select."
Ensure "Factory Reset" is highlighted. Press "Select" again.
Turn on your TV and return to the Roku's "Home" screen. Press the left arrow button to select "Settings." Press "Select."
Select "Network" in the "Settings" screen with the Roku remote. Select "Repeat guided setup." Select "Wireless" or "Wired" and press "Select." If you choose "Wireless," select your network from the list, then re-enter your network password and select "Done." If you choose "Wired," make sure the Ethernet cable is connected to both your Roku box and your router before repeating "Network" setup. Select "Back."
Select "Display Type" in the "Settings" screen. Select "4:3 Standard" for a CRT television set. Select "16:9 Anamorphic" for a widescreen, standard-definition television. Choose "HDTV 720p" for a high-definition television that supports up to 720p resolution. Choose "HDTV 1080p" for an HDTV that supports full HD. Select "Audio Mode." Choose "Stereo" for a television with two speakers. Select "5.1 Surround Sound" for a television with a multiple speaker system connected with an optical audio or HDMI cable. Select "Sound Effects." Select the desired volume for the Roku sound effects.
Select "Screensaver." Select "Change Screensaver" to choose another screensaver. Choose "Change wait time" to change the length of inactivity that will trigger the screensaver. Select "Custom Settings" to change the settings for your chosen screensaver. Select "Preview" to see a preview of the screensaver. Select "Done" to return to the "Settings" screen.
Select "Time Settings." Choose "Change Home Screen Clock" to choose a 12-hour clock, a 24-hour clock or to turn the clock off. Select "Change Time Zone" to change to your local time zone. Select "Done" to return to the "Home" screen.
