Takara Games

Takara is a Japanese company, founded in 1955, that develops and publishes games for a variety of video game consoles. The company has made games for Nintendo, Sega Genesis and PlayStation, among others. Types of video games developed by the company include fighting, strategy, racing, platform and board games.
  1. Banana Prince

    • The Banana Prince video game was made for the Nintendo Entertainment System and released in 1991. The purpose of the game is to retrieve stolen weapons on an island as the Banana Prince advances to new levels. The Banana Prince carries seeds, which allows him to grow and climb flowers.

    Battle Arena Toshinden 3

    • Battle Arena Toshinden 3 is a 3D weapons-based fighting game that was created for the PlayStation game console that was released in 1996. Four types of race classes are available. When users win races, they are able to race at a higher class.

    Special Life Game

    • Special Life Game is a video game based on the board game 'Life.' The video game was released in 2003 for the Nintendo GameCube. The purpose of the game is to simulate the life cycle, users spin a wheel to see how far they go each turn. Throughout the game, users become married, have kids, find careers and purchase homes. The winner is the one with the most money at the end of the game.
