This mind reading game involves choosing a country, an animal and a fruit. It takes two people to play, and players must know their math facts, because it also involves a little multiplication, addition and subtraction. The game begins with one person writing on a piece of paper secret words. Fold the paper and give it to the second player. Your partner will choose a number from one to nine. The selected number will be multiplied by nine and then added together. If the new number becomes higher than nine, they will have to subtract five from it. With the new number, the second player figures out what alphabet letter is associated with their number; for instant, A is #1, B is #2. The letter associated with their number will be used to name a country. After a country has been selected, your partner will select an animal that starts with the last letter in the country named. The final step involves selecting a fruit that starts with the last letter of the animal that was chosen. The surprise comes when your partner looks at the piece of folded paper and finds their answers match that which is on the paper.
For most mind games, it takes two or more players. However, 20Q Mind Reading Toy is a game for single players. The game begins with the electronic toy asking the player 20 questions. After the questions have been answered, the ball will tell you what you are thinking. All of the questions and answers will appear in a little window box on the face of the ball. Another action of this mind reading game is that the player can ask the ball 20 questions as well. If by chance the ball cannot tell you what you are thinking, or comes up with wrong answers, it will allow you five extra questions as it tries to win.
This little mind reading ball comes in colors of blue, red, orange and purple. It has four buttons that sit below the view window that lets the player interact with the game.
The idea behind this game was created by Joseph Dunninger. The game looks like something out of science fiction with Dunniger’s face pictured in the middle of the game board. This game is played differently from other mind reading games; the game is about getting players to use their mental telepathic powers. Players earn points in reading images on cards that other players send telepathically. The board game uses pawns to move across the board along a path that goes through the four temples before reaching the “Thought Plateau.” The temples are the sun, moon, sky and the earth. Concentration and telepathic powers of the players makes this vintage game exciting.
