Batman Leapster Games

Leapster toys are handheld games for children created by Leap Frog. Leapster games include characters from popular children's television shows and movies, and typically have an educational aspect. Games teach counting, letters or shape recognition. DC Comics icon Batman is one of several superhero characters licensed for Leapster games.
  1. The Batman: Multiply Divide & Conquer

    • Based on the animated television show "The Batman," the Multiply Divide and Conquer game is suggested for players age 8 to 10. The side-scrolling action game features villains the Joker, Mr. Freeze, Cluemaster and the Firefly. Each villain has their own world which Batman must complete. The game is aimed at teaching math skills equivalent to grades 3 and 4. Included in the game are tests of geometry, pattern recognition, counting, addition, subtraction and sequencing.

    The Batman: Strength in Numbers

    • The Batman: Strength in Numbers is a Leapster game aimed at players age 5-7 and teaches the basics of math. The game pits Batman against Mister Freeze, Firefly and the Cluemaster in Gotham City. The game focuses on elementary math skills like addition, subtraction, evens and odds and counting. The game also allowed players to connect to the web, play and earn acheivements at Leapworld.com

    Batman: First and Second Grade

    • The Batman: First and Second Grade interactive book is used by players for the LeapPad system. The game teaches reading, math, foreign language and geography skills, while Batman fights against his traditional enemies: the Penguin, Catwoman, Mister Freeze and the Joker. Game players can also learn facts about bats as the superhero saves Gotham City. The game was also used by the Quantum LeapPad and LeapPad Plus Writing System.

    Flyware: Battle for Gotham

    • For older students, Leap Frog has a system called Flyware. Created as a tie-in to the movie "Batman Begins," the game is aimed at players 8 and older. The game is less educational and more entertaining, as Batman must battle Ra's al Ghul and mirrors some of the storyline of the film. Players can also choose to play as Ra's al Ghul.
