How to Become Eligible for a SAG Card

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) is a labor union established to represent actors. Like all labor unions, SAG works to establish fair working conditions, benefits and compensation for its members. It also helps to protect members from exploitation and secure and maintain work opportunities on their behalf. Performers can benefit considerably from a membership in the union but must satisfy the eligibility requirements before they can obtain a SAG card.
