How can you get Star Trek starfleet academy to play on Windows Vista?

Unfortunately, Star Trek Starfleet Academy is not compatible with Windows Vista or any newer versions of Windows. The game was released in 1997 and is only compatible with Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME.
