Visit the MTV reality casting website (see Resources) and search through the listings of casting calls.
Click on the title of the reality show that you are most interested in appearing on.
Read the show requirements. If you meet the requirements, scroll down the page to read the application instructions. To apply for most MTV reality casting calls, you will have to submit an email to the casting director.
Compose an email message detailing why you are the perfect person to appear on that particular reality show. Make it juicy and do not hold back on your flaws, pet peeves or weird traits. Reality shows cater to people with outgoing personalities that can bring some sort of drama or depth to the show.
Add two forms of contact information to your email message. Submit your email and wait for an MTV staff member to get back in touch with you.
