Sign into your Netflix account on your Netflix-compatible device or computer.
Select a movie you recently watched from the "Recently Watched" section.
Click on the amount of stars you wish to rate the movie. For a movie you loved, select five stars and for a movie you disliked select one star. The rating you give a movie will configure your account to suggest new movies you may enjoy based off of your ratings on movies. These ratings are automatically shared with everyone on Netflix, contributing to the movie's average star rating displayed on the site.
