Who is the author of kids book Aladdin?

Aladdin is a folk tale which is widely known all over the world and is included in the collection 'One Thousand and One Nights'. The earliest known full Arabic version of the tale is believed to have been written by Syrian author Hanna Diyab in 1709/10.
