At the time of my information cut-off, there was no newly released Godzilla movie. The most recent Godzilla movie at that time was Shin Godzilla, which is a Japanese action kaiju film directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi. It premiered in Japan on July 29, 2016.
Following Shin Godzilla, the next release in the Godzilla Franchise is expected to be a Hollywood sequel to the 2014 film, Godzilla. The sequel, titled Godzilla vs. Kong, was released in March 2021.
