Ticket prices range from $5.50 to $8.00, as of early 2011, and the movie theater is capable of showing 3D films.
The other movie venue in Tifton, Georgia is a historical theatre located in the heart of the downtown area. The Tift Theatre was built in the 1930s, and was decorated by a Ringling Brothers artist. Its restoration began shortly after the theatre closed in 1987, and the theatre was brought back to its former glory. The theatre is not only capable of playing movies, but also hosts plays, musicals and dance performances, as well as special events.
The Tift Theatre was built in 1937, in historic downtown Tifton. In February of 1937, the theatre opened, and its first performance was "Pennies from Heaven." The theatre immediately became a mainstay in Tifton, with famous blockbusters gracing its screen for the next 50 years. During this time, the theatre was only capable of showing movies. The theatre was shut down in 1987.
