How to Make Movies With Menus for the PSP

The Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) is capable of playing video files on its large display. Many video files do not include the capability to skip to another chapter because there are no chapter menus built into them. You can add chapter menus to your PSP videos so you can easily pick up where you left off when watching your mobile videos. These video files can also be used on other portable devices that play video files.

      Open a text program, like Wordpad, and enter the following into the body of the text document:

      CHAPTER01=00:00:00.000

      CHAPTER01NAME=Intro

      This will signify the first chapter of the MP4 file. Continue doing this, using "CHAPTER02" and "CHAPTER02NAME=Scenes1-10," or whatever you want to name the next chapter, and so on.
