How to Remove Movies Viewed With Netflix

Netflix has revolutionized how people watch movies. Consumers can watch these films on their computer or on Internet-connected television sets, or they can watch the DVDs or Blu-ray discs when they come in the mail. Many consumers, however, might be on the fence about investing in this technology because much of Netflix's management is done online. Managing a Netflix account online, however, is a relatively easy endeavor for any consumer.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Netflix website (see Resources).

    • 2

Sign into your Netflix account. Your Netflix account contains your email address and a password.

    • 3

Select "Your Queue" at the top of the page. Then click on the "DVD" tab. Your DVD queue is the list of films you have saved on your account that will be mailed to you.

    • 4

Browse through your DVD queue for all the films you wish to remove. Next to each movie is a remove icon (noted by an X). Click on this X, and the Netflix database will inform you that the film has been removed from your queue. Click on the "Update DVD Queue" to update your list.

Click on the "Instant" tab. This queue contains movies you selected that you can watch off your computer or your television through a Internet-connected movie player. The movies remain on your Instant Queue even when you finish watching them. Click the "Remove" icon (also noted by an X) to delete them from the list.
