Where was Murder in Mesopotamia filmed?

The 2016 TV adaptation of Agatha Christie's "Murder in Mesopotamia" was filmed primarily in Jordan.

Specifically, the production used locations in:

* Petra: The iconic ancient city served as the backdrop for the archaeological dig site where the murder takes place.

* Wadi Rum: This desert valley with its stunning rock formations provided the setting for scenes outside the excavation.

* Amman: Jordan's capital city was used for some of the interior scenes.

The film was also shot in part in England, using studios and locations in Buckinghamshire. However, the majority of the filming took place in Jordan to capture the authenticity of the Middle Eastern setting.
