      Create an account with Yousendit.com. Pick a username and password. Yousendit.com allows you to upload video and music files that are as large as 2 GB. You can try the website for free for 14 days, after the free trial, you pay $9.99 monthly.

      Upload your video onto Yousendit. It may take several minutes because of the size of the file.

      Send it to the recipient. Once your video is uploaded you can instantly send it to anyone you want. Yousendit also allows you to send multiple video or music files at once.

      Receive video files. Within your account you have the ability to receive video and music files from various senders. The videos will be sent to your dropbox on the Yousendit website.

    Making a Smaller Version of the Video

      Open your video in Compressor, a Mac program that decreases the size of video.

      Drag the video file into the new project box on the upper left-hand corner of your screen.

      Open a setting for your video from the box on the left bottom corner of your screen. Choose a setting such as "H.264," which will decrease the size of your video while maintaining its quality.

      Rename your video file. Click submit on the project box. Another window will pop up. Click submit. On the right side of the screen, there will a box that reads "Tasks," click the arrow button that is next to your file. You will see that your video is compressing. Once its finished, it will read, "Successful." Open the magnifying glass next to it. The "Finder" window will pop up with your video as a Quicktime movie. Your video should be considerably smaller now. It is ready to be uploaded on various video sites.
