How do you safely get rid of a in Pokemon Battle Revolution?

In Pokémon Battle Revolution, you cannot get rid of a Pokémon. You can, however, switch out your active Pokémon for another one in your party. To do this, press the L or R button to select the Pokémon you want to switch to, and then press the A button.
