How do you get avalanche Pokemon diamond pearl?

To get the Avalanche HM move in Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, first talk to the Move Maniac on Route 214 after you have defeated Volkner.

- To find Move Maniac, use the bike path located past the Pokemon Mansion on Route 212 to hop over the cliffsides north east of Veilstone City.

Then proceed to Route 214 past the Pokemon League Headquarters.
