What happens if you accidentally had Ho-oh faint in Pokemon Ruby?

In Pokémon Ruby, you cannot accidentally faint Ho-Oh. This is because you cannot encounter or catch Ho-Oh in Pokémon Ruby. Ho-Oh is only available in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
