How do you unlock death note in jump ultimate stars?

You cannot unlock Death Note in Jump Ultimate Stars. The game was released in 2006, and Death Note was only announced in 2003, so it was too new to be included.

There are no ways to unlock any characters or content that wasn't included in the game from the start.
