What is flash revolution?

Flash Revolution (also called flash mob or flash crowd) is a gathering of people in a public place, who appear suddenly and perform an unusual and seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often leaving the onlookers confused and bewildered.

Flash revolutions are typically organized via social media or other electronic means, and participants may be instructed to wear certain clothing or carry specific props. The acts themselves can vary widely, from dancing and singing to playing pranks or engaging in political protests.

Flash revolutions are often seen as a form of street theater or performance art, and they can be used to raise awareness for a cause, promote a product or service, or simply create a sense of community and shared experience.

Some of the most famous flash revolutions include:

- The Harlem Shake, which originated in 2013 and involved people dancing to the Baauer song of the same name

- The Ice Bucket Challenge, which was a viral campaign that raised awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2014

- The Mannequin Challenge, which involved people freezing in place like mannequins while a camera moved around them, which went viral in 2016

Flash revolutions can be a fun and creative way to bring people together and create memorable experiences, but they can also be disruptive or even dangerous if not properly planned and executed.
