Why are skywarp and thundercracker such great friends?

Skywarp and Thundercracker from the Transformers franchise aren't particularly known for their friendship. While they are Decepticon Seekers, they display distinct traits and personalities that make them different. For example, Skywarp is carefree and mischievous while Thundercracker is more brooding and introspective.

There are, however, moments of camaraderie between them as teammates, but they don't share the depth of friendship often found in fictional portrayals.
