1. An armed head, which tells Macbeth that he will be Thane of Cawdor.
2. A bloody child, who tells Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland.
3. A crowned child, who tells Macbeth that Banquo's son will be King of Scotland.
Macbeth interprets these visions as a prophecy of his future. He believes that the witches are telling him that he will become King of Scotland, and he is determined to make this prophecy come true. Macbeth's ambition and greed lead him to commit terrible crimes, including murdering Duncan and Banquo. However, Macbeth's reign as king is short-lived, and he is eventually defeated and killed by Macduff.
