Where is there humor in Wuthering Heights?
While *Wuthering Heights* often focuses on themes of passion, love, and power struggles, and while there are some attempts at comedic elements, it cannot be labeled a novel known for its strong use of humor. However, one character that provides some moments of lightness in an otherwise intense plot is Joseph, a Yorkshire groom and farmhand at Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. His strong Yorkshire dialect, unique manner of speech, and his dry jokes bring some occasional humorous moments amidst the gloomy story.
