Why subtitles show up?

There are a few reasons why subtitles might show up on your screen.

* The video you're watching has subtitles turned on. This is the most common reason why subtitles appear. To turn off subtitles, look for a button or menu option that says "Subtitles" or "Closed Captions."

* Your device is set to display subtitles. Some devices, such as TVs and DVD players, have a setting that turns on subtitles for all videos. To turn off this setting, look for a menu option that says "Subtitles" or "Closed Captions."

* There's a problem with the video file. In some cases, a video file can be corrupted or damaged, which can cause subtitles to appear even when they're not turned on. If you're experiencing this issue, try downloading the video file again or playing it on a different device.

If you're still seeing subtitles after trying the above solutions, you may need to contact the video streaming service or app you're using for help.
