What pokeballs do you use to catch azelf?

You cannot catch Azelf using any Pokeballs. Azelf is a Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and can be found in several games, including Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, as well as Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Azelf must be encountered at Lake Valor and captured in battle using a regular red and white Pokeball. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you must complete a series of quests to capture Azelf and will be given a special, unbreakable Pokeball to capture it.
