Instructions for On Stage Stands

On Stage is a brand name of music and microphone stands. These stands come in a variety of colors, shapes and uses. On Stage makes stands for holding PA system speakers, sheet music, and every type of microphone. The stands collapse for ease of transport, and lock or tighten into place when fully extended. The stands are made from hollow steel tubes to make them lightweight and stand on either tripods or solid metal bases to keep them from tipping.

Instructions

    • 1

Set up microphone stands on the stage where the microphone will be placed. Extend every part of the stand including body, feet and oscillating elbow joints. Tighten the stand where it will be at a comfortable height. Screw the microphone-holding attachment onto the top of the stand. Place the microphone in the holding attachment.

Pull apart the PA system speaker stand tripod's feet away from each other and tighten the knob attached to them. Sit the stand down on the feet. Extend the body straight up and press the locking pin through the locking pin holes to keep them from sliding. Place the speakers on top of the stand with the posts pressing into the speaker stand ports.

Place the music stand on the tripod feet in front of the playing area and tighten the bolt on the feet. Extend the body and press down the holding tabs when at the correct height -- generally under eye level while sitting or standing. Slide open the music holder on the top of the stand. Place the sheet music in the holder and use the restraining rods to hold it down.
