Do they lip sync at the country music awards?

It is possible for artists to lip sync at the Country Music Awards, but it is uncommon. The CMA has strict guidelines regarding the use of pre-recorded tracks and lip-syncing, and artists must obtain prior approval from the CMA in order to use them. Additionally, artists are encouraged to perform their songs live whenever possible.

In recent years, there have been a few cases of artists who lip-synced at the CMAs. In 2018, Garth Brooks was accused of lip-syncing during his performance of "Ask Me How I Know," but he later denied the allegations. In 2020, Jimmie Allen also faced criticism for lip-syncing during his performance of "Best Shot."

Overall, lip-syncing is not a widespread practice at the Country Music Awards, and most artists perform their songs live.
