2.) Find the Pokemon you wish to capture.
3.) Throw Safari Balls:
- The Safari Zone works slightly differently than traditional catching mechanics. Safari Balls will take the place of your traditional Poke Balls, and your party members will remain outside of their Poke Balls.
- To throw Safari Balls, approach a Pokemon and press A to bring up the menu. You will have various options, but the one you are looking for is Throw.
Choose Throw and attempt to hit the Pokemon.
4.) Use Items:
- You will have access to a limited supply of bait and rocks within the Safari Zone.
- Rocks: These can damage the Pokemon and reduce the chances of them fleeing, giving you a better shot at catching it.
- Bait: Bait will attract Pokemon, increasing the likelihood of encountering one.
- You will have 30 Safari Balls to capture as many Pokemon as you can before exiting the Safari Zone.
5.) Exit when you are finished catching Pokemon or when you run out of Safari Balls.
