1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
2. Open the trunk of your car.
3. Locate the tail light assembly on the side that needs the bulb replaced.
4. There are two plastic covers on the assembly you will need to remove to access the bulb. Pry them off with a small flathead screwdriver from top to bottom.
5. Once you have the cover off, the turn signal socket should be visible. Turn it counterclockwise to release it.
6. Pull down the socket to gain access to the bulb, and rotate it counterclockwise to release the bulb from the socket.
7. Replace the old bulb with the new bulb, and rotate it clockwise to secure it in the socket.
8. Replace the socket in its slot, and twist clockwise to secure.
9. Replace the plastic covers.
10. Test the turn signal to ensure it is working properly.
