The Little Serenade, often referred to as the Serenade in G major, was composed by Austrian composer Franz Joseph Haydn in the late 1770s or early 1780s. It is part of a larger set of serenades that Haydn composed during his tenure as the Kapellmeister (music director) of the Esterházy court.
