How big is a ballroom?
Ballrooms vary widely in size, depending on the venue. However, a typical ballroom might be around 1,000 square feet (93 square meters) in size. This would be large enough to hold around 100 people for a social event, or around 50 people for a seated meal. Ballrooms can be much larger than this, however. For example, the Grand Ballroom at the Plaza Hotel in New York City is over 10,000 square feet (929 square meters) in size and can hold up to 1,100 people.
