What is Cai Yun Zhui Yue?

Cai Yun Zhui Yue (_Chasing Rainbow, Catching Moon_) is a light work by Jin Yong. Published in 1978, following The Condor Heroes and preceding Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre. Set during the waning years of the Qing Dynasty, it tells the tale of martial arts expert Ye Kai and his quest to reclaim the "Sacred Book of Martial Arts" from the martial alliance "The Seven Masters".

During the reign of Emperor Daoguang of Qing, Ye Kai's father, the "Ghost Hunter", was lured into a trap and killed by "The Seven Masters". Twelve years later, Ye Kai, now grown up, sets off on a journey of revenge, seeking to obtain the "Sacred Book of Martial Arts" in order to defeat "The Seven Masters". Along the way, he meets various martial artists and encounters many adventures.
