The Paypay de Manila is a traditional courtship dance from Mexico's Pacific coast. The word ‘paypay’ originated from the fan that both sexes carry during the dance that symbolizes both coquetry and love. Traditionally performed during local festivities in towns across Guerrero State including Acapulco de Juárez.
