Where did aboriginal dance originate?

The first evidence of Australian aboriginal dance dates back to 30,000 years with archeological finds revealing elaborate body decorations used in ceremonial dances and storytelling. Aboriginal dance can be traced back tens of thousands of years to the first Indigenous peoples of Australia. Originating in the spiritual beliefs of the Indigenous Australians, dance held deep cultural significance and was embedded in every aspect of their lives. Through dance, they expressed their connection to the land and ancestors, reenacted stories passed down through generations, celebrated significant occasions, and performed healing ceremonies.
