2. Cariñosa - A romantic dance from the Maria Clara suite of Philippine folk dances, where the fan, or "pañuelo", is passed from the man to the woman and back again. It originated in the Panay region particularly in the provinces of Iloilo and Antique, and is considered the national dance of the Philippines.
3. Pandanggo sa Ilaw - This dance showcases performers balancing lighted oil lamps or candles (sometimes even glasses of water for the more experienced) on their heads and hands, while dancing gracefully to the rhythm.
4. Singkil - This is a dance that depicts the epic legend of the Darangen. The female dancer uses fans and bamboo sticks to move in between poles, similar to the Tinikling.
5. Maglalatik - This dance incorporates the use of coconut shells and is traditionally performed by male dancers. The movements of the dancers mimic the harvesting and processing of coconuts.
