The lively dance is called Jitterbug.

The jitterbug is a group of swing dances that developed in the United States in the 1930s and remained popular until the mid-1940s. It was danced to swing jazz music by big bands and small combos during the swing era. The jitterbug spread throughout the Western world and was popular in Europe, Australia, and South America as well as the US.
