What is the climax of eight below?

In the climax of Eight Below, Jerry (Paul Walker) returns to Antarctica during a fierce blizzard to rescue the surviving sled dogs stranded there. Despite battling through dangerous conditions and treacherous terrain, Jerry is eventually able to find the remaining dogs and safely lead them back to camp. Through this heroic act, Jerry not only reunites with his faithful companions, but also fulfills his promise to bring them home.
