The LIV nightclub is located in the Fontainebleu Resort in Miami Beach. It has a stage and a 30,000-sq.-ft. dance floor, and is located next to a hotel and a restaurant. This club offers three full-service bars and a main floor featuring DJs playing Latin, hip-hop, Pop, Top 40, R & B and rock music. The LIV club is a popular destination with celebrities and the Miami Beach party crowd. In addition to resident DJs Ross, Contra and Jessica Who, celebrity DJs have visited from all over the world. LIV also regularly hosts special events such as modeling shows and private parties.
Referred to as "Miami's Hottest Club" by People magazine, the Mansion has hosted several noteworthy events such as Britney Spears' Miami performance and the MTV Video Music Awards. The club's ornate design features Venetian Glass Mirrors, intricately rendered fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, large seating areas, keystone arches and brick walls. The Mansion is outfitted with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems. The club often features live music acts along with popular local and internationally renowned guest DJs that spin the latest in hip-hop, R & B, pop and rock. As of 2011, their regular main event is known as "International Wednesday," an all-night party with the latest dance music. The Mansion doors open at 11:00 p.m.
The Set Nightclub is operated by the same group that runs the Mansion. The design of The Set is inspired by the homes of the Hollywood elite from the 1930s and '40s. Rooms furnishings are fashioned from baby crocodile, leather and Pucci fabrics. The building has a futuristic fireplace and vacuum-compressed elevators, and the walls are lined with artifacts from the glamorous Hollywood era. The Trophy Room is The Set's version of a VIP lounge; special guests, celebrities and the very wealthy party in privacy here. The room is filled with comfortable leather chairs, memorabilia and its own private bar complete with crystal decanters. The nightclub itself is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. DJs play music from a variety of genres including '80s, hip-hop, dance and electronic. This nightclub also highlights special events such as the Kimberly Hendrix and the Natalya Toporova fashion shows, and it opens its doors at 11:00 p.m.
Space Miami was created by DJ turned nightclub owner Louis Puig in 2000. It was voted the No. 1 dance club in the United States by readers of DJ Mag, and is well-known for its music. The club was constructed within the remains of a renovated multistory warehouse. In addition to the massive dance floor it provides a rooftop terrace where partygoers can catch their breath. Resident DJs include local favorites such as Oscar G and Edgar V. It also often plays host to internationally renowned acts such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed and Deep Dish. The club also hosts special events such as fashion shows, and corporate and themed parties.
