How did tyga start rapping?

Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson (born November 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Tyga (an acronym for Thank You God Always), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. He first gained major recognition in the late 2000s with the release of his debut studio album No Introduction (2008).

Tyga was born and raised in Compton, California. He began rapping at the age of 12 and released his first mixtape Young On Probation in 2007. He later signed with Lil Wayne's record label Young Money Entertainment in 2008.

Tyga's debut album No Introduction was released on June 10, 2008, and peaked at number 23 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit single "Coconut Juice", which reached number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Tyga's second studio album Careless World: Rise of the Last King was released on February 22, 2012, and peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit singles "Rack City", "Faded", and "Far Away".

Tyga's third studio album Hotel California was released on April 9, 2013, and peaked at number 7 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit singles "Dope", "1 of 1", and "Wait for a Minute".

Tyga's fourth studio album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty was released on June 23, 2015, and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit singles "Ayo", "I'm Gone", and "1 of 1".

Tyga's fifth studio album BitchImTheShit2 was released on December 21, 2017, and peaked at number 90 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album featured the hit singles "Taste" and "Swish".

In addition to his music career, Tyga has also appeared in several films and television shows, including the MTV reality series Bustin' Loose (2009), the VH1 reality series I Am Cait (2016), and the Netflix original series Rhythm + Flow (2019).
