In the heart of downtown Savannah, the Jinx is a local fixture for live music, DJ dance parties and its \"everyone is welcome\" no-frills attitude. When not presenting live music, The Jinx hosts karaoke and nightly themes such as 80’s night. With a top-of-the-line sound and video system, the venue goes all out to feed the atmosphere of the night. The music ranges from rock and rockabilly, to honky-tonk and punk. The small amount of seating in the space affords plenty of room for all night dancing, even during the weekday happy hour. Since opening in 2003 at the same location as The Velvet Lounge, The Jinx has earned the reputation as the kind of dive bar that pulls you again and again.

One of Savannah’s largest dance clubs, Club One is a full out entertainment complex and Savannah’s premier gay bar. The space includes a two-tiered dance floor, basement video bar, upstairs cabaret and game room complete with video games and a pool table. Frozen drinks and nightly drag shows, best viewed from the second-level dance floor, fuel the high-energy atmosphere. The crowd is a younger mix of tourists on the weekends and regular clubbers during the weekdays. Local DJs spin Top 40 and Industrial music on the main floor seven nights a week, and bar snacks and pizza are available on the lower level.
