According to Cardinal's website, this club first opened its doors in 1974 and is "one of the longest-running night clubs in the USA." The dance floor at Cardinal is separated from the bar so that guests can mingle in the bar room without the music drowning out conversation. Cardinal's target audience are the local college students, and every Thursday students can get in free with a college I.D. Cardinal opens its doors at 7 p.m. most days, but opens at 4 p.m. on Fridays and is closed on Tuesdays.
