Constance was born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. He started playing basketball at the age of 10. He attended the International School of Düsseldorf and played for the ART Giants Düsseldorf youth team. In 2017, he moved to the United States and enrolled at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.
Constance committed to play basketball for Villanova over offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, and Miami. As a freshman at Villanova, he averaged 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team.
As a sophomore, Constance averaged 10.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He helped lead Villanova to the Big East Tournament championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
After his sophomore season, Constance declared for the 2022 NBA draft but ultimately withdrew and returned to Villanova for his junior season.
Constance averaged 11.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game as a junior. He helped lead Villanova to a second consecutive Big East Tournament championship.
After his junior season, Constance signed with an agent and declared for the 2023 NBA draft. He went undrafted in the draft and will reportedly play for Promitheas Patras in Greece.
Constance is a 6'8" tall, 215-pound small forward. He is known for his athleticism, defensive versatility, and three-point shooting. He is considered to be a potential first-round draft pick in the 2023 NBA draft.
