Ask the universe for help in your quest to overcome procrastination. You do not have to say this aloud, but you can if you want to. State your desire (in this case to get tasks done on time or early) and ask for assistance in getting you to this point.
Imagine yourself as someone who does things on time, or even early. Visualize completing some of the tasks you have the most trouble with, and think about how much easier your life will be.
Feel what your life would be like if you didn't procrastinate. Do this in combination with your visualization by imagining how you feel when you don't have the added stress of rushing to get things done.
Create a vision board to help you. Having a visual queue triggers you to remember to be positive about your progress and future. Include anything which will encourage you to be timely. For example, if you procrastinate cleaning your house, take a picture when your house is clean to inspire you to keep it this way. If it is work assignments, include words your boss may say such as "great work."
Believe you can overcome your procrastination. Block any thoughts to the contrary. If one slips in, immediately rephrase it into a positive statement in your head.
Express gratitude when things go well. Notice when you do something early or on time, and thank the universe for helping you to get there. All you have to do is think about being grateful, and think about how you got to this point. You'll realize you are successful in meeting the goals you've set for yourself.
